“Pobre Ana” Project

We did a project in Spanish class over Mexico and found the population of some of the states, capitals, or towns in Mexico. Also, we labeled some of the states and capitals on a map. Then we researched ten places or things we could see in Mexico, but two of them had to be in Nayarit, Mexico. This project connected with our curriculum because we’re reading a book called, “Pobre Ana” and basically Ana goes to live with another family in Nayarit for three months. Some things that I learned were the populations of some places in Mexico and that Mexico has states within its country. When I researched about different places I could visit, I found that there’s a lot of amazing places in Mexico that you can visit and they just look so interesting. For example, I know that two places I would for sure visit are the Basilica de Santa Maria de Guadalupe and any beach in Puerto Vallarta.
